after two great weeks of family and friends in town
we are back to an empty house
thanksgiving was great
we had a relaxing morning and mid day
then met up with the scarlett side of the family
at aunt cindy's house
late thursday night we had an unwelcome visitor
brittany saw a mouse in the guestroom!
we've never seen a mouse in the three years we have lived here
needless to say craig and i hit the road to find a mouse trap
thankfully our 24 hour walgreen's had them
and we were back home in record time considering
there was black friday madness going on around town
friday morning we woke up to a mouse in a trap
i can now sleep soundly again
yesterday we did breakfast together
well, we were actually split into 3 booths
and then we said goodbye to amy and the kiddos
from there we headed to the cu game
it was by far the most exciting game of the year
i really thought they were going to win and
i really thought i would cry when they did
it didn't work out that way
cody and brittany took off early this morning
the house seems very quiet now
i haven't really wanted to get off the couch
poor craig is out running errands while i enjoy doing nothing
it was a lovely holiday
