today i am thankful for the longmont fire department
don't worry
there was no fire
after looking at the instruction manual for the car seat
then comparing it to our owners manuals for our cars we were at a loss
they make things about as clear as mud
we just took it all to the fire station tonight and said "help!"
a very nice fireman helped craig
a very nice firewoman helped me
the bases are now in and we are ready to take baby home from the hospital
thank goodness for once a month car seat checks
