today i really wished i had a fancy phone to document my drive home
it's not every day you cross a fire line
or see a semi truck on its side
i don't have a fancy phone
there are no pictures
i clocked out of work at 4:10 pm
i got home at 5:40 pm
on a normal day i get home in 30 minutes
sigh
for now i am home
the wind is still out of control
we have no broken windows
our house is still standing
the BBQ has been flipped off its side and wedged against the house
hurricane force winds won't get us down
on another note:
has anyone else hit their insurance out of pocket max for the year?
i did in the first 19 days of the year
i'm pretty sure i win
