we did a little: yard work, laundry, dishes, painting, cooking and shopping.
maybe pictures will be more fun!
i don't have any pictures of the yard work. craig and his dad took out the rest of the deck path to nowhere. they dug up some plants that were turning our back yard into a jungle and cut back some trees that were taking over the house. we were going to cut down three aspens that have died or are on their way out, but we decided not to. they looked so much bigger when we got out there to actually cut them down. thankfully we got the name of a tree guy who can help us...we hope!
just a little laundry...six loads. there are only 3 shown.
i had to start putting stuff away because it was taking over my spot on the couch.
it looks like i might need to clean out under the couch.
and painting...amateur, but i am still very proud.
this will only be up during the winter.
i cut a large piece of foam and shoved it in the swamp cooler hole to "winterize"
and the canvas is covering the hole.
this is just for fun and maybe because the first canvas i bought wasn't big enough to cover the hole.
and cooking and baking...
homemade mac and cheese with my latest obsession, ginger ale.
no, i did not make the ginger ale.
homemade banana bread w/ apple sauce
and there might have been some football and baseball on in the background all the while.
(baylor, cu, broncos, and all the baseball games. our football showing was a big fat fail!)
