we had a goal for day two: finish demolition
we didn't get there
one reason is these pesky little guys
the shower handles
WILL.NOT.COME.OFF.
we've tired a hammer, screw driver,
WD40, wrench, hammer again,
WD40 again, and again.
so the demo isn't finished.
we did get all of the trash outside and into our bagster.
i scheduled the bagster pickup the night of day 2.
hopefully they come sooner than later.
i'd hate to send trash flying around the neighborhood.
we picked out where we want our overhead lighting for the living room.
craig got up on the ladder and marked the spots on the ceiling.
craig also spent some time in the attic.
i held the flashlight from the bathroom.
sadly, i didn't think to have the camera up there with me.
once he was in there i couldn't run away to get the camera.
i was so afraid he would fall through.
he didn't.
i spent much of my night scraping the bathroom floor.
the tiles were really sticky.
craig removed the toilet.
we both carried it down the stairs then he carried it outside.
fyi: if you forget to wear your gloves
you cut your knuckles on the ground.
at the end of the night
all the tiles were all in the trash
and i swept the floor.
