this weekend i got a little, dare i say it, crafty!
i should start by saying that i have a mild addiction to the dollar store. actually, mild might not be a strong enough word. before i buy anything i go to the dollar store to see if they have anything that will work. last time my mom was in town i took her to share my love of the dollar store. she too fell in love so we went to dollartree.com and found one just a few minutes from her house. the dollar store is powerful!
so first i wanted to make a fall wreath. the woman who writes one of my favorite blogs wrote about making a diy wreath this week. i took her idea and did my own thing, aka, got all the materials from dollar tree.
here's how it turned out
i like it. craig likes it. all is well.
then i set out to make some cool vases that i also saw on a blog. again, i got all the supplies at the dollar store.
i really love them. the leaves will do for now but i can't wait to decorate them for christmas!
