Brady Mitchell you are two years old!
You have changed so much this year.
Elizabeth and Edith came and ate breakfast with us at Chick-fil-a on your birthday.
You have a whole gang of stuffed animals you keep in your crib:
Bunny, Bob, Blue, another Bunny and today you requested Elmo before nap.
Yes, you are still in your crib.
As of now you have made no attempt to jump out.
We are keeping you contained for as long as possible.
You like reading books, praying and singing before bedtime.
Bath time is one of your favorites.
You are obsessed with "shows" and have seen way too many with a baby in the house.
Sometimes it's mommy's best option to get through the morning.
We are working on that.
While we are talking about shows your favorites are:
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Daniel Tiger, Paw Patrol, and Sesame Street.
You love the movie Planes and your Nana and Pa gave you lots of Planes stuff for Christmas.
You love slides and try to make them out of things like the changing pad.
Unfortunately that doesn't always work out and there are tears.
Lucky for you, Mamajosey and Gdaddy got you a slide for Christmas.
It's currently in our living room but will move outside once the snow goes away.
You love to talk and sing.
Your vocabulary is growing every day.
A couple of days ago I took you to Target because you were going crazy at home.
You were loudly singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star as I pushed you through the store.
It was making the other shoppers smile.
You make people smile a lot of the time.
Brady, you bring so much joy and laughter to our family.
You are growing more independent everyday.
We will never hold you back for our own comfort,
but we promise to always step in when you need to be redirected or corrected.
That's our job as your parents.
You might hate us for it now, but I pray some day you'll thank us.
By the way, Daddy and I have no idea what we are doing.
We are trying our best and asking Jesus to help us.
