Sammy has been in the boots and bar for six weeks. He has taken it all in stride and for that we are very thankful. After reading way to many horror stories of children screaming all day and night, I was very worried about this phase. Well, or little warrior has proved once again he was made for this.
Yesterday Sammy and I saw his physical therapist and his pediatric orthopedic doctor/surgeon. They were both very happy with his correction and flexibility.
For now we continue with 23/7 wear of the boots and bar and stretching. Sammy's next appointment is in 5 weeks. We are so proud of our little man, thankful for his medical providers, and for God's direction and healing.
