9 months
Hi Brady,
You are nine months old today. It's crazy to think you have on the outside for the same amount of time I carried you on the inside. We loved you when you were on the inside, but we LOVE having you on the outside!
A lot has gone on in the past month. We had roommates for three weeks, you went to Dallas to meet some of the Montgomery family and baby Campbell, you got croup and had to get a new doctor, and you are pulling up to standing and balancing unassisted. You're up to eight teeth that have broken through even though you don't like to show them off yet. You are eating like a champ and have started to favor baby food over finger food. We still offer you both at most meals. You and I are still on the breastfeeding train. It looks like we are going to make it to the year mark. Good job, buddy! You are "talking" up a storm but are not saying any words yet. You make the ma-ma sound but don't know what you are saying.
Sleep is still a struggle. Ever since having croup you are going down at night and most naps without a peep. You might protest just a little once you realize what's happening, but as soon as I snuggle you, give you a kiss and lay you down you roll over and go to sleep. It's rather amazing. Once you wake up in the night it's a different story. Most nights you end up in our bed or in the guest bed with mommy sometime between 2:00 am and 6:00 am. I'm too exhausted and our house has been too sick to battle it out with you. The battle will kick back in soon though...and mommy and daddy will win!
You are a beautiful, spirited little boy and I am so thankful to be your mommy.
We love you and thank God for you all the time (even in the middle of the night).
